The region announced on Twitter that Canada's Wonderland, Georgina Ice Palace and Richmond Green will not be administering doses for the day.

Due to the vaccine shortage, anyone between the ages of 18 to 34 in "high priority communities" or residents aged 50 to 59 will also no longer be able to book vaccine appointments.

York Region, which uses its own booking system, is instead advising those age groups to make an appointment using Ontario's COVID-19 booking system.

680News reports that the only clinic available under the provincial system is currently the Cornell Community Centre in Markham.
