Ottawa Is Giving Canadian Visitors $100 Off To Come & Stay In The City This Fall

If you’ve ever wanted to visit Canada’s capital, now could be the time to do it! Ottawa Tourism is giving Canadians $100 towards a visit to the city this fall and you can spend it in so many different hotels. With the leaves turning orange already, a dreamy mini-break could be just around the corner.

Whether you’ve visited the National Capital Region before or are a total first-timer, fall is a great time to visit O-Town.

Right now, Ottawa Tourism is sweetening the deal for Canadian visitors by offering a $100 hotel credit to anybody who visits the city throughout the fall and winter seasons.

To qualify for the credit, all you have to do is book at least two nights in a participating Ottawa hotel. 

You can visit at any time throughout the autumn and winter months, as long as your trip occurs before December 31.

However, you’ll have to be quick to get the discount. Bookings must be made before September 30, 2020.

More than 30 hotels are included in the deal, including the Fairmont Château Laurier, the ByWard Blue Inn and the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel.

There are cheaper and more expensive options, so you’re bound to find something that suits your budget.

Unique accommodation experiences are also included, like the Ottawa Jail Hostel.

The $100 off will be applied to the booking upon check-in, and deducted from the bill upon check-out, explains the tourism agency.

This discount is to encourage visitors to spend some of the cash that they saved on local dining, souvenirs and city attractions.

To qualify for the offer, you'll need to use the links and promo codes provided by Ottawa Tourism to book.

Autumn is a great time to visit the region, especially as there are so many hikes with amazing fall views.

If shopping is more your thing, Tanger Outlets has just been given the go-ahead to open on stat holidays, so you could shop-until-you-drop on Thanksgiving.

The city has also recently extended patio season until Christmas, so you’ll be able to enjoy a frosty al fresco experience that’s unlike any other!

For the most iconic Ottawa winter experience, you could explore the Rideau Canal Skateway in the winter.
