Are you on a seafood diet, where you eat all the food you see? Well, don't worry, dining out doesn't need to be expensive. We know where you can slurp down delicious oysters for super cheap. Here are five 'buck a shuck' places in Vancouver that mermaids would totally love.

When it comes to oysters, there is no middle ground. You either love the alleged aphrodisiac or can't stand the texture.

But if you are a fan, you are in luck. There are a handful of places around town where you can use the loose change under your couch to buy yourself a feast. 

One of the most surprising spots is H Tasting Lounge. It looks super fancy and has a stunning patio, so you'd never expect to see anything on the menu for $1.

But if you visit during happy hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., you can feast on cheap food and have a cocktail served in a teapot. That's totally something Ariel would do, right?

If you haven't tried the 1931 Gallery Bistro at the Art Gallery yet, you should make plans to go between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. with your BFF soon. They have three different flavour options in a half shell, and each one is just a loonie.
