This charming little town with heritage building-lined streets was named among BC's best

The perfect day trip from Vancouver. 💐

Someone in Fort Langley. Right: A cute small town street.

Fort Langley. Right: Small town in BC.

This adorable small town is known for its charming streets dotted with cute boutiques and cozy cafes, quaint vibes and slow-pace feel. It's close enough to Vancouver to make the ideal day trip spot, but gives you distance from the bustle of the big city.

Fort Langley is a little village within Langley, about an hour away from Vancouver. It's set on the idyllic Fraser River and is the picture of small town charm. A recent ranking by Zoocasa named Fort Langley among the best small towns in B.C., highlighting its "charming heritage buildings, local boutiques, and scenic views of the Fraser River."

A day here means popping in and out of the local stores, exploring the galleries, and soaking in the surrounding country landscape.

Wandering the streets. you'll pass by a few cute spots, including Wendel's Books — where you can grab a coffee and a book and sit out on the patio.

The town's famous Community Hall has even been featured in some Hallmark movies, and it's a landmark of the town that you can go see.

Fort Langley National Historic Site is also here and you can go and feel like you're stepping back in time to the 1800s.

Surrounding the town are farms that you can go visit, offering some U-Picks in the summer months and the chance to see some farm animals.

You can also get some fresh produce at Fort Langley Village Farmers' Market, which runs on Saturdays during the summer months.

Nothing says wholesome like a day wandering this little town.
