One of BC's 'best small towns' is this hidden gem with quaint streets and an enchanted forest

A trip full of beauty. 🌲

A treehouse in the forest. Right: A small town.

Enchanted forest. Right: Revelstoke BC.

In this small town you'll find picturesque streets lined with heritage buildings, little shops, local restaurants and cozy cafes — all with the backdrop of the beautiful mountains. It feels like stepping into a postcard here, complete with a little gazebo in the town's centre and all.

Zoocasa recently ranked Revelstoke as one of the best small towns in B.C., dubbing it a "hidden gem."

It's known for it's natural beauty and mountain adventures, especially skiing in the winter months, but spring and summer here offers a different type of fun.

Think of blooming flowers framing the quaint streets, and visiting the local brewery after a day out hiking.

The trails around here can take you to idyllic lakes, through fields of wildflowers, and to lookouts set among jagged mountain peaks. You've got all the adventure of being in the beautiful interior of the province here.

Tucked away in the woods just outside of town is the Enchanted Forest, a magical spot to walk through and feel like you're in a storybook.

The park is set in a stunning old growth forest, and is home to the tallest and highest tree house in B.C. You can walk the stairs up to the top, surrounded by the towering trees.

While the sights outside of town are incredible, you can't go without exploring downtown here too. For a pretty small community it has a lively atmosphere with lots to do and see. Go shopping, check out the local Farmers' Market, and take in the public art in the alleyways of town.

It's also got a heritage cinema called the the Roxy Theatre, which makes for a fun night.

If you want small-town charm with a good dash of beauty and adventure – head to Revelstoke.
