Nothing says fall like wandering the cozy streets of a charming community. This small town in B.C. is among the best of the best, ranked among the "most charming" in the country and a spot that Canadians shouted out as the place they would love to move to.

It's an idyllic little town that will have you falling head over heels after one visit. You wouldn't be the only one, because our readers named Fort Langley as the Canadian small town in the country they would "love" to move to. If you're opting to leave the bustling city streets behind, it's hard to imagine anywhere more perfect to live than Fort Langley.

First off, you're just an hour outside of Vancouver, so you've got access to Vancouver International Airport — making travel easier — and other perks of the major city like the restaurant scene and shopping.

Then you've got the added layer of being nestled in one of the most beautiful provinces there is. Within reach, you've got lush rainforest trails, tiny island getaways, and mountain retreats.

Fort Langley has all of that in its backyard, but still feels like a charming town out of a Hallmark movie. That's probably because it actually has been used in many movies, with its iconic yellow community hall on display.

It isn't only Narcity readers who love this place, though. It has also been ranked among Canada and the U.S.A.'s "most charming" small towns, on a ranking by Betway.

Fort Lagley's historic village has picturesque streets brimming with heritage buildings, creating a quaint atmosphere that even makes a quick afternoon stroll feel idyllic.

Inside the buildings, you'll find cute coffee shops, antique stores, and cute boutiques.

Wendel's Bookstore & Cafe is a landmark of the town, and it looks like it could be plucked from a storybook; it's so picture-perfect.

In the fall, the town is that much more charming, giving Stars Hollow vibes with its small-town streets.

Surrounding towns, the fall fun continues with pumpkin patches like Eagle Acres — which is open from September 27 to October 26, 2025. There, you can enjoy a hayride, visit the farm animals, and pick out a pumpkin from the patch.

Autumnal charm awaits you in Langley!
