On Monday, July 6, the Vancouver Aquarium took to Twitter to share the photos of their latest rescue: Joey the orphaned sea otter.

According to the Aquarium, Joey was found "orphaned, hypothermic and hypoglycaemic near Kyuquot," which is on northwest Vancouver Island.

The little heartbreaker was rescued and brought to the city of Vancouver on Friday morning, July 3.

He's now in a stable condition and under the 24/7 care and observation of the team at the aquarium.

If you want to show love for Joey and support his wellbeing as he recovers, you can donate to the aquarium on their website.
