BC Is Getting Hit With An 'Arctic' Snow Storm With Up To 15 cms Of Snow On Friday
A big old chunk of the province is under special weather warnings right now and it looks like winter in B.C. might be on its way.
According to Environment Canada, a huge portion of the lower province will be impacted by arctic air and below-average temperatures on Friday, October 23 and moving into the weekend.
"With a somewhat cool airmass already in place, widespread snow is expected from the Chilcotin and 100 MIle area to the Fraser Canyon and eastward to the Kootenays and parts of the Columbias," says the warning.

Not only that, but temperatures "of 10 degrees below seasonal normals" are anticipated, too.
The warning also explains that driving conditions might be especially awful and to keep an eye on the changing alerts.
Because this is British Columbia, you better believe that things are going to get soggy.
"Snow may become mixed with rain," says Environment Canada.
