Disney just announced that they will be opening up California Adventure's Buena Vista Street area for shopping and dining purposes next month— however, the rides will remain closed.

Buena Vista Street is located inside of the theme park but no admission will be charged to enter, as they are calling this an extension of Downtown Disney shopping, at this time.

The street is modeled after the actual street in Burbank, California, and is a popular part of the park with restaurants like the charming Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe and Carthay Circle Lounge, a retro spot for cocktails and appetizers.

You can even get those Disneyland-famous churros at one of the vending carts on the soon-to-open street.

Guests to the open portion of California Adventure will need to have their temperatures checked before entering, and masks are required.

This comes as an attempt to open as much of Disney as possible without actually opening the parks since they have been unable to do so based on the current theme park reopening guidelines recently set forth by Governor Gavin Newsom.

Downtown Disney has been open since July.
