It's set to be perfect for "enjoying the beach and backyard barbecues." ☀️

Grab your sunglasses and your sunscreen, it's going to be a hot one! Canada's summer forecast for 2021 just dropped and the whole country is in for above-normal temperatures and loads of bright, sunny days.

On June 1, The Weather Network shared its forecast for the months of June, July and August, predicting that the season's weather will be perfect for "enjoying the beach and backyard barbecues."

This is because almost all of Canada will experience higher than average temperatures, in addition to "more than the typical number of sunny days."

The Prairies, B.C. and Atlantic Canada are in for a very hot summer in particular, while Ontario and Quebec will have periods of heat with "significant breaks" and some storms.

The Yukon and western regions of the Northwest Territories will also have a warmer season than usual.
