If you're dreaming of white sand beaches and cocktails in the sunshine without the hefty price tag, this destination is for you. Travel search engine Skyscanner just revealed one of the cheapest destinations to fly to from Toronto this June, with round-trip flights under $350.

June marks the beginning of peak travel season, which typically means busy airports and expensive tickets. However, you can still score some big savings.

According to Skyscanner's monthly Travel Hack Series, travel hacks such as flying midweek rather than weekends can help you shave dollars off your fare.

Skyscanner also notes that "flying out on June 3rd or 10th instead of the 8th, 26th or 28th could help travellers save on airfare."

If you're looking for an affordable getaway from Toronto this June, Punta Cana is the place to go. According to Skyscanner, it's the cheapest destination to travel to from Toronto in June, with round-trip flights starting at $327.

With white sand beaches, palm trees and turquoise water, it's a dreamy spot for a vacay.

When reserving a hotel, Skyscanner says prices tend to be lower when booked for midweek stays, particularly between Tuesday and Thursday. This is especially true in popular city destinations, where weekend demand drives up rates.

You can use Skyscanner's filters to sort by guest ratings, star categories, and lowest price to find the best value for your getaway.

If you're looking to swap city views for palm trees this June, Punta Cana might be the place to go.
