Dust off your resume! Statistics Canada is still hiring census workers right now and there’s plenty of money to be made.

In a new tweet, the government agency revealed that it's still looking for new staff members to help with data collection for the 2021 census.

There are approximately 32,000 jobs up for grabs across the country, with roles ranging from enumerator to crew leader.

The hourly rate for non-supervisory roles starts at $17.83 per hour ($29.25 per hour in remote communities) plus eligible expenses. Supervisory roles offer $21.77 per hour ($31.25 in remote communities) plus eligible expenses.

While role descriptions vary, employees are expected to assist in collecting data for the upcoming census. This includes collecting questionnaires from homes, following up with respondents, shipping completed questionnaires and more.

Who Should Apply: If you’re over 18 years old and are available to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, this is a great opportunity to earn big bucks.

It’s also worth knowing that Statistics Canada says it’s “committed to ensuring the safety of its employees at all times” and will provide all necessary PPE.
