The city's top public health organization has put a Toronto jobs call out, looking for people to perform "general administrative tasks" for Toronto's vaccination program.

Toronto Public Health's part-time position pays up to $31 an hour, lasts for 10 months, and doesn't require any diplomas or educational requirements to apply.

The job listing was posted on January 8 and is open until January 24.

Key qualifications include experience with customer service, office and admin duties, Microsoft Office Suite, and database systems and data entry. 

They're also looking for people with effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and good time management.

The part-time job involves "flexible hours" onsite at vaccination clinics, where candidates will handle the reception and processing of clients.

Toronto is in the middle of ramping up its vaccination program, with John Tory announcing today that the city would be opening its first vaccination clinic at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre On Monday, January 18.

"We are planning to administer up to 250 first dose COVID-19 vaccinations each day for the first three weeks," said Matthew Pegg, the general manager of Toronto’s Office of Emergency Management.
