Ontario businesses that are struggling from COVID-19 shutdowns could now be eligible for up to another $20,000.

In the 2021 provincial budget that was released on Wednesday, it was announced that a second round of Ontario Small Business Support Grants would be issued to those who are eligible.

Around 120,000 small businesses will receive an additional $10,000 to $20,000.

The first round of grant money was announced back in December, where the eligible businesses were given the same amount.

The government states that the money is being given to "help small businesses that have been most affected by the necessary restrictions to protect people from COVID-19."
