Even city landmarks couldn't help but celebrate the Schitt's Creek Emmy sweep. The CN Tower and the new Toronto Sign turned gold to honour the award-winning Canadian show. The tribute did not go unnoticed, as cast members gathered downtown to enjoy the spectacle and join the Schitt's Creek Emmy celebrations in Toronto. Sunday was a big day for Canada as the heart-warming sitcom broke records at the Primetime Emmy Awards. Wins included Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series, and Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series. The cast members weren't the only ones showered in gold. Major Toronto landmarks glowed to commemorate the show's success. A video posted to Instagram by Schitt's Creek producer Amy Segal showed several of the show's cast members snapping photos and enjoying the view. Toronto local Dan Levy and costar Noah Reid, who played the sitcom's most loveable couple, can be seen beaming up at the golden CN Tower.
