Sandra Memenis "In a fire, you lose everything - after losing a child, material possessions seem so small and insignificant but she’s going to need to start from scratch and if [you] can help her lift a fragment of that insurmountable burden, please do what you can," wrote Memenis. The fire, which broke out at approximately 4:30 a.m. at 95 Gainsborough Rd. on January 29, left four individuals dead — Jana Jansons, Kai Jansons, Matthew Zdybal, and Amanda Freimanis. Freimanis was a tenant of the home and was passionate about mixing music, her loved ones told CP24. A Facebook page has been started in memory of Zdybal, where his friends and family can share words, memories, and photos. "I am sounding the horn and rallying the masses because we each can do something to help lift one pebble from this mountain of grief," Memenis wrote. "And if more and more of us proceed to lift a single pebble, that mountain though still present will become a little lighter for those forced to shoulder it."
