It's finally cold enough for some of Toronto's ponds, rivers and lake regions to freeze over and residents have taken note. People have been getting their outdoor exercise by skating and sliding around on the city's frozen bodies of water over the last several weeks. However, the fun comes with serious risks. Toronto Police Service and the City of Toronto are warning residents against venturing onto unregulated ice.
