New body camera video footage released by Masai Ujiri's legal team sheds light on what really happened in the moments after the Raptors won the NBA Championship.

In the clip, Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy Allan Strickland blocks Ujiri with his arm, demanding to see his credentials. Ujiri tried to get past the guard, eager to celebrate with his team.

What happened next was an altercation in which Strickland was "undeniably the initial aggressor" in the altercation, Ujiri's legal team tells KTVU.

The security guard filed a lawsuit against Ujiri back in February, alleging that the Raptors president struck him.

Ujiri, however, didn't back down, insisting that he was the one who was assaulted.

In a statement from the Raptors executive's lawyers, it's alleged that "Masai was not an aggressor, but instead was the recipient of two very violent, unwarranted actions," reports ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
