Climb your way to epic sights with this lookout hike near Ottawa.

If you've been going to Calabogie's Eagles Nest on repeat, it is time to shake things up and go to Foley Mountain Conservation Area instead.

It is 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car, but worth every second for the picturesque views.

The park is open year-round between 8:30 a.m. to dusk, and there is a $7 entrance fee.

Inside, you'll find several hiking trails to pick from, but the one you want is the 3.2-kilometre Blue Circle Trail.

It is an easy trek along a pine forest, but make sure to follow the well-marked directional signs right to Spy Rock Lookout.

From the top of the granite cliff, you'll see a narrow stretch of land that divides the blue waters of Westport Pond and Upper Rideau Lake.

It is time to get your road trip playlist ready, as you won't want to miss seeing this panorama.
