You'll feel like you're vacationing in Greece on this dreamy island in Ontario. Surrounded by shimmering, turquoise water, it's a little slice of paradise that will whisk you away to another world.

Flowerpot Island is a majestic hidden gem located on the crystal-clear waters of Georgian Bay in Fathom Five National Marine Park.

According to Bruce Anchor Cruises, it's "one of Canada's most fascinating natural attractions" and is brimming with hidden wonders.

The island is known for its natural "flowerpot" rock pillars—towering sea stacks that dot the shore and give the destination its name. It's also home to hidden caves, scenic trails, and rare plants.

Upon reaching the island, you can hike from Beachy Cove to the majestic flowerpots. From there, you can travel along a short trail to the island's historic lighthouse.

Flowerpot Island boasts incredible turquoise water, and there are several spots where you can take a dip.

Beachy Cove and the flowerpot formations are both idyllic places to swim. The shoreline is rocky and has a steep dropoff, so use caution.

While the water may look tropical, it's actually quite chilly, making it a refreshing way to cool off on a hot summer day.

If you wish to extend your stay, you can book a campsite and fall asleep to the sound of waves and the stunning sky full of stars overhead.

The island is only accessible by boat, and two private tour companies—Blue Heron Cruises and Bruce Anchor Cruises—offer trips from Tobermory.

The scenic boat ride takes you past ancient shipwrecks and along stunning emerald coastlines straight off a postcard.

With stunning natural wonders, crystal water and hidden gems, this Ontario island is a slice of paradise.
