With these Health Canada jobs, you'll work alongside occupational health nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational health physicians, administrative officers, and program managers.

Positions could be located in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Moncton, Halifax, or St. John's.

The Health Canada salary for this job is $101,726 to $119,945 a year.

Nurses are eligible to receive an annual education allowance — from $605 to $3,850 — depending on their education level.

You must have a degree from a post-secondary institution with a specialization in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education or another relevant specialty.

Or you can get hired with a certificate or diploma in occupational health nursing from a post-secondary institution.

Also, you need to be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse in a province or territory of Canada.

Experience coordinating the delivery of clinical services and providing advice and recommendations on complex health issues is required.

If you get the job, you must:

  • have a current registration in good standing as a registered nurse in the province of work
  • have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • be able to travel
  • be able to wear personal protective equipment
  • be able to manually lift and carry equipment weighing up to 44 pounds
  • be able to deliver services to clients in person
