It’s time to dust off your resume! Amazon Canada is hiring for 800 jobs across the country this month and they’re hosting a huge career day to help you get started. If you’d like a corporate role, a fulfillment centre position or a job in technology, there could be a new career out there that suits your skills.

Kicking off on September 16, Amazon is hosting an event that’s open to all job seekers in Canada, regardless of your background, education and experience.

The purpose of the event is to offer free "career coaching sessions" throughout the day, helping Canadians to explore potential employment with the company.

Around 1,000 recruiters will take part in the virtual event to offer advice, Q&A sessions and insights into the hiring process.

From there, you’ll be able to start applying for the positions that appeal to you most.

Right now, the e-commerce giant has around 800 jobs up for grabs in Canada, with positions in the corporate and technology sector.

There are roles working with Amazon Prime, Alexa, Amazon Advertising and the operations network.

If a career in the company’s fulfillment centre sounds more like your style, there are thousands of jobs up for grabs right now in Ontario, too!

While different jobs will have different starting salaries, the company says many full-time positions come with competitive wages and benefits like “medical, vision and dental coverage.”

Many employees are also offered “performance-based bonuses starting on day one,” says Amazon.

Throughout the company's Career Day, participants can access public live-streamed events such as panel discussions and interviews with experts, as well as one-on-one coaching sessions.

To attend the free event, all you have to do is register online.

If a career at Amazon doesn’t sound like your thing, the Canadian Government is also hiring for multiple roles across the country.

If a signing bonus sounds like something you’d be interested in, the Canadian Armed Forces are currently offering big bucks for a wide variety of positions. To apply, you need absolutely no experience and minimal qualifications.
