Talk about wholesome! Nineteen rescue dogs in Canada have found their forever homes after they took a long flight from Lebanon to Montreal this week.

On Tuesday, May 11, the furry group touched down at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport after they were rescued from abroad by animal welfare organization Rescue Dogs Lebanon-Canada.

While it was a pretty long flight for the pups, a big group of people were eagerly awaiting their arrival here in Canada.

According to the animal organization's Facebook page, 18 adopters were there ready to greet their new furry family members when they touched down in Montreal.

The photos shared by Rescue Dogs Lebanon-Canada show the dogs meeting their new families for the first time.

The organization described it as "a day that none of us will forget" and said it was "pretty special for each and every one of us."

As for the dogs, it seems like they're more than ready to start their new life here in Canada.
