It's been almost 40 hours since the disappearance of the Carpentiers, which triggered an Amber alert in Quebec, and those close to the family are still waiting for any updates. The current wife of Martin Carpentier delivered a tearful video message on social media.

The Sûreté du Québec shared the video of Cathy Gingras so that Martin might see it, and to also encourage people to stay vigilant.

"Martin, we are worried," Gingras says in French, "We haven't heard from you since the accident. We wonder if you're alright, and the girls, Romy and Norah, we want to know if they're okay. If you are fine."

According to information obtained by the Journal de Montréal, new updates in the investigation led the SQ to move its command post and personnel to the vicinity of rue Veilleux in Saint-Apollinaire.

Norah, 11, Romy, 6, and their father, Martin Carpentier, 44, disappeared after their vehicle crashed on Wednesday evening.
