You may have to enjoy your seasonal pumpkin spiced latte to go! On October 1, Starbucks Canada announced that indoor seating and patios would be closed once again in two areas due to COVID-19 concerns.

In a release shared with Narcity on Thursday, Starbucks confirmed that all company-operated locations in Ottawa and Quebec will now only offer grab-and-go services.

This means all seating, including patio areas and outdoor spaces, will be removed again.

The coffee company explained that the move is to keep staff, customers and communities safe.

This comes as cases of COVID-19 continue to climb in both Ottawa and the wider province of Quebec.

Customers in these areas will still be able to get their caffeine fix, but all orders will have to be to-go from stores or from the drive-thru.

Coffee-drinkers in select areas will also be able to place an order through Starbucks Delivers via Uber Eats.

Customers and staff at all locations are also required to wear a mask when making an order, per the company’s COVID-19 regulations.
