One spot in the 6ix is having an issue getting drivers to slow down. 

Since Toronto speed cameras have started handing out tickets in July, one place has seen thousands of fines issued for those going over the speed limit. 

Renforth Drive near Lafferty Street has seen 4,320 tickets, making it the biggest speeding hot spot in the city.

According to a City of Toronto press release, from the month of July to August a total of 22,301 tickets were handed out, while 15,175 were given between August and September. 

The highest fine that was seen in September was $682 and was given to four drivers for going over 80 km/h in a 40 zone. 

Thousands of drivers were also reported to get more than one ticket during this time. 

Toronto's speed cameras first started issuing tickets back on July 6. 

They were set up in 50 locations across the city.
