Located in Northern Ontario's Neys Provincial Park, the beach is a little slice of paradise tucked away amidst geological formations and scenic trails.

Ashburton Bay Beach is a dreamy spot to visit this summer. According to Ontario Parks, it's "one of the finest sand beaches on Lake Superior's north shore" and offers 2 kilometres of powdery shoreline.

While Lake Superior is known for its cold temperatures, Ashburton Bay's shallow waters warm up on hot summer days, allowing you to take a refreshing dip in the waves.

According to Superior County, the "sugar sand" beach is "so beautiful you'll want to spend the entire day exploring what it offers."

In addition to the beach, Neys Provincial Park offers a range of other experiences, including cycling, canoeing, and birding.
