You can lounge on a heavenly ribbon of sand.

Ontario is home to many gorgeous beaches, from white sand shorelines to hidden cobblestone coves. If you're searching for tropical vibes here in the province, you'll want to head to this dreamy beach this summer. With smooth shores, dreamy dunes and a stretching sandspit, it's a warm-weather gem.

Long Point Provincial Park is a dreamy destination located in Port Rowan, just over 2 hours from Toronto. Founded in 1921, it's Ontario's fourth-oldest provincial park and is home to a breathtaking beach and scenic nature.

Its smooth sand shores, bright blue waters and shimmering waves will have you feeling like you're on a mini tropical escape.

One unique feature of the park is its 40-kilometre-long sandspit, which extends into the water and looks like an island paradise.

Longpoint has over 2 kilometres of velvety beaches where you can take a dip and soak up that summer sun.

The day-use beaches are located in the New Park as well as Cottonwood Campground in the Old Park.

In addition, you can find extensive beaches at Monarch's Rest and Turtle Dunes Campground.

Aside from swimming, you can enjoy canoeing along the sheltered marsh of Long Point Bay, biking along the 5 kilometres of roadways and observing more than 300 different species of songbirds and waterfowl that migrate through the park.

You can also book a campsite to enjoy a longer stay in the area.

With a dreamy white sandspit, crystal waves and scenic surroundings, Long Point Provincial Park is a magical spot to check out this summer.
