If you're dreaming of a beach day that feels like a tropical escape without a lengthy flight, this Ontario spot might just be your new summer obsession. Boasting kilometres of golden sand and shimmering warm waters, it's an idyllic place to relax and soak up some sun.

You'll feel like you're in another world as you wander along the soft sand and splash through the crystal waves.

Port Burwell Beach is a picturesque destination situated within Port Burwell Provincial Park.

According to the website, the beach is "one of the most beautiful on the northern shore of Lake Erie" and offers 2.5 kilometres of velvety shores.

The water is shallow, sandy, and very warm thanks to the park's southerly latitude, making it the perfect spot for a swim.

In addition to the beach, the park offers two hiking trails, as well as opportunities for boating and birding.

If you're looking for more places to take a dip, you can head to the Port Burwell Municipal East Beach, located nearby. The Blue Flag-certified beach boasts a stunning sandy shoreline, perfect for relaxing the day away. Paid parking is in effect for visitors.

With its beautiful sandy shores and warm, crystal waters, Port Burwell Beach is a dreamy spot to visit this summer.
