Bathtub Island is a natural wonder located in Lake Superior Provincial Park near Katherine Cove.
When the crystal waves become high enough, the hollowed-out centre of the island fills with water, forming a natural "bathtub."
It's a magical place to relax and float.
In order to get to the island, you can follow the Coastal Trail from Katherine Cove for about half a kilometre. Once you reach the sandy shoreline, you can walk through the shallow waters to Bathtub Island.
The island consists of smooth rock, but it can be slippery, so it's best to use caution while exploring this natural wonder.
Parking is available at the Katherine Cove and Sand River parking lots. In order to visit Bathtub Island, you'll need to purchase a day use permit, which are available at the Agawa Bay Visitor Centre, Gatehouse and Park Office for $15.50.
