Flowerpot Island

The island is known for its towering flowerpot-shaped rock pillars, from which it derives its name. Aside from these marvels, you can see caves, a historic light station, rare plants and more while visiting this spot.
The rocky shoreline along Beachy Cove is a magical place to take a dip or go snorkelling and features tropical-blue water.
The island can only be reached by boat from Tobermory and there are two services which run from mid May to mid October, weather permitting. It is possible to reach the island by kayak or canoe, but it is recommended for experienced paddlers only.
