With cideries, lush apple orchards and cozy shops, it's like stepping into an episode of Gilmore Girls.

Thornbury is a cute village located about two and a half hours from Toronto on the shores of Georgian Bay. It was named among the 15 "most charming small towns in Ontario" by Guess Where Trips, thanks to its scenic waterfront and quaint downtown.

The town is even more magical during the fall, as it's nestled in Ontario's apple country and boasts dreamy orchards and cideries.

There's even an Apple Pie Trail that takes you to cozy stops around the town, such as Goldsmith's Apple Market, the Thornbury Bakery Café, and Thornbury Craft Co.

Along the way, you can indulge in tasty apple treats and crisp cups of cider to get you in the autumn mood.

You can also head to some nearby orchards to pick your own apples, such as Oaklane Orchards and Farmer's Pantry.

Bring your hiking shoes, because Thornbury boasts some scenic trails where you can soak up the beautiful fall colours.
