Lead Writer, Travel

The autumn season is a beautiful time to chase waterfalls. You can enjoy the magic of a rushing cascade as well as the stunning fall colours.

This Ontario waterfall is a majestic destination to explore this season. Located about 2 hours away from Toronto, it features scenic trails and a towering lookout.

Eugenia Falls Conservation Area boasts 23 hectares of gorgeous autumn landscapes.

Situated in the tiny village of Eugenia, the conservation area is home to a hiking trail that twists along the edge of Cuckoo Valley, giving you incredible views along the way.

You can wander your way to the magnificent Eugenia Falls, a 30 metre cascade that's the tallest waterfall in the area.

The Main Trail is 1.7 kilometres long and takes you to a scenic lookout, the top of Eugenia Falls and through a tunnel.

The park is also home to a war memorial and a pavilion where you can enjoy a picnic.

During your visit, be sure to stay on the designated trails. Visitors are not permitted at the base of the falls, at the top of the falls, or beyond the fence barriers.

If you're looking for a beautiful fall hike, this dreamy waterfall trail is worth a road trip.
