This tiny harbour destination in Ontario is getting a spooky makeover just in time for Halloween. With pumpkin-lined streets and magical displays, you'll feel like you've stepped into a scene from Hocus Pocus while visiting this spot.

Discovery Harbour, a 12-hectare living history park in Penetanguishene, is a magical place to visit this fall.

The park is perched on the shores of Penetanguishene Bay and is home to a cluster of heritage buildings including workshops, dwellings and more. You'll feel like you're strolling through a tiny village as you wander past the old-world structures.

This October, the park is transforming into a mystical Halloween town for Pumpkinferno. Running from October 2 to November 2, the event features "magical outdoor exhibits of artificial hand-carved pumpkins," according to the website.

You can wander along paths lit with glowing jack-o-lanterns and see giant sculptures made out of pumpkins. The area will be brimming with "more than 5,000 artificial 'fun-kins,' lights, music and activities."

You can also see roving buskers perform with fire, magic and more, as well as check out the haunted ship display in the H.M.S. Tecumseth Centre.

Other chilling spots to explore include Grimm Reaper's Grove, Scarecrow Alley and the haunted Macabre Mansion.

Bring your appetite, because there will be spooky treats to enjoy at The Bubbling Cauldron Café and pizza available for purchase.

If you're looking for some extra excitement, you can enjoy an immersive coffin ride and test your skills at the 5 minute escape room.

Step into a glowing pumpkin wonderland at this harbour destination in Ontario.
