Quebec Police Say They're At The 'Nerve Centre' Of Their Search For Martin Carpentier
Quebec police are reportedly closing in on their search for 44-year-old Martin Carpentier. After searching through the night, police spokesperson Sgt. Ann Mathieu confirmed that while they are yet to locate the man, police are “at the nerve centre of the search.”
Surete du Quebec (SQ) are looking for Carpentier after he went missing with his two young daughters on Thursday, July 9. On Saturday, both 6-year-old Romy Carpentier and 11-year-old Norah Carpentier were found dead.

On Sunday morning, SQ confirmed via Twitter that they had not yet found Martin Carpentier, but would continue their search throughout the day.
The investigation is focused in a wooded area in Saint-Agapit—Saint-Apollinaire, and police are urging locals to steer clear of the site.
Officers are asking anybody who may have seen Carpentier to call 911 immediately. He is believed to be wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans, and is approximately 5 feet 10 inches and 130 pounds.
