On Tuesday, March 16, Quebec-based Medicago announced that they will be moving into Phase 3 of clinical testing of their plant-based COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
Medicago's COVID-19 vaccine candidate is "plant-derived," and, as it moves to late-stage clinical testing, 30,000 people will be able to volunteer for the trials.

"The trial will take place in 10 countries pending regulatory approvals, starting with Canada and the United States," said a press release.
They'll be testing a range of "males and females from ethnically and racially diverse populations."
You must be over the age of 18 to apply and must not have received a COVID-19 vaccine or diagnosis.
