Canada is an insanely beautiful country, made up of all different types of unique terrain.  We have beautiful mountain, huge lakes, rolling prairies, and amazing cityscapes.  With such a vast majority of places to explore, it's easy to get caught up in the typical tourist destinations.

We have compiled a list of 12, beautiful and somewhat underrated Canadian destinations that you need to explore.  Whether you're a tourist, or you've been born and raised in our country, you should make it your mission to visit all of these places at least once in your lifetime.

1. Carré Saint-Louis // Quebec

Carré Saint-Louis is made up of numerous picture perfect Victorian style homes, that make for the best Instagram opportunities. If you're planning a trip to Quebec be sure to put aside some time to see these beautiful homes.

2. Tofino // B.C.

Tofino is home to a beautiful beach, perfect for surfing. This relaxing oasis has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, and is probably one of the most relaxing places you will ever visit.

3. Nimmo Bay // B.C.

Nimmo Bay is the ideal place to go whale watching. These beautiful creatures have been spotted just off the mainland's of B.C. numerous times, and you don't want to miss it!

4. Sign Post Forest //  Watson Lake, Yukon

Sign Post Forest is a quirky and adorable destination that is just begging for you to explore it. The "forest" is made up of hundreds of signs and is located along the Alaska Highway.

5. Tablelands, Gros Morne // Newfoundland

Gros Morne national park is the second largest national park in Atlantic Canada, and might be one of the most beautiful as well. You'll be swept off your feet after seeing the beautiful landscapes around every turn you take.

6. Rice Point // P.E.I.

Prince Edward Island is known for their beautiful red rocks, and Rice Point definitely does not disappoint. The area is also surrounded by secluded homes and dense forests, giving the entire area a very serene feel.

If you're looking for the ultimate rope swing, we have found it! For those of you who love adrenaline rushes and adventuring, this might be the perfect destination.

8. Cavendish // Newfoundland

Another Newfoundland gem. You can find these picture perfect buildings on Route 80, off the Route 1 exit at Whitbourne. Don't forget your camera, it would be a shame not to get this beautiful of a picture.

9. Drumheller, Alberta

When visiting Drumheller it's hard to believe you're still in Canada. This outlandish terrain is seriously breathtaking, and completely unique.

10. Edmonton Ice Castle // Alberta

Who wouldn't want to relive their childhood dreams of living in a castle, especially one made of ice! This has been added to the top of my bucket list, and i cannot wait to experience it for myself one day.

11. The Butchart Gardens // Victoria, B.C.

Butchart Gardens is a green thumb's dream! You'll be able to explore the numerous walking paths while delving into all the lush greenspace. It seriously looks like something out of a storybook.

12. Kortright Centre for Conservation // Ontario 

Finally, last but not least an Ontario Destination. Ontario has so much to offer, but this conservation area seriously needs a little more credit. This space is truly magical during the fall months, so plan your trip accordingly!

Oshawa PPC candidate Darryl Mackie got himself in some hot water Wednesday morning after refusing to show proof of vaccination or wear a mask at his local Tim Hortons.

Durham Regional Police told Narcity they received a call yesterday just before 10 a.m. regarding Mackie at an Oshawa Tim Hortons because he refused to wear a mask or show his vaccination status.

Toronto Resto Pauses Indoor Dining Until Vaccine Certificate Debate Calms Down

The owner is also visually impaired and finds vaccine certificates "very difficult to read."

Toronto's well-loved pizza joint, Frank's Pizza House, announced on Instagram that they will be closing indoor dining at their restaurant and opting for take-out and delivery six days a week.

Owner Giorgio Taverniti told Narcity he decided to pause indoor dining on the opening day of vaccine certificates in Ontario because he doesn't "think people are ready right now."
