May 14 Canada Wonderland's planned reopening date

According to the CBC, Cathy Jaynes, the head of York Region Public Health's logistics supply team, said the site will run in April and May, and could possibly extend into the summer months as well.

Jaynes said the theme park's parking lot would be turned into an eight-lane thoroughfare for people to drive up, receive their shot, wait 15 minutes, and leave.

Narcity reached out to York Region Public Health for comment but did not hear back before publication time.

On January 21, Canada's Wonderland announced its plans to reopen the park on May 14, 2021.

And the company has even started hiring lots of people to work at the park this spring.

But Ontario's Tourism Minister said it was "far too early" to speculate on when restrictions will be loosened enough for the amusement park to open.
