In an emailed statement to Narcity, Toronto Police say they responded to a gathering at Cherry Beach, and once they arrived discovered a large group of people having a party.

A video of the event, which was posted on YouTube, shows mass crowds dancing with rave lights and loud music. It is being called a "Freedom Rally After-Party" which reportedly is in connection with the anti-lockdown protests.

TPS was able to clear out the crowd, and three event-goers were charged under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

Ontario currently has a stay-at-home order put in place until June 2, which means nobody should be leaving their homes unless it is for something essential like grabbing groceries or heading to a healthcare-related appointment.
