Toronto has turned into my second home.  Fred VanVleet

In fact, he even stated that the city is like a second home to him and his family.

However, the player does sound hopeful about the upcoming season.

"Obviously, we miss the city, but I think we've got to be excited about what's ahead of us," VanVleet stated.

"I can't not be excited about it. We were in Florida for a while with the bubble in Orlando, and right back there in Tampa, so hopefully it's a good experience."

The 26-year-old recently signed an $80 million contract with Toronto.

However, the Raptors will be forced to start the 2020-2021 season in Tampa Bay due to Canada-U.S. border restrictions.
