An Ontario company is currently looking to hire remote matchmakers to help their clients find their soulmates.

What we are looking for is people who have been in customer service or account management. People who have a background in psychology and sociology are a really good fit. Catherine Huchan

VIDA Select, a company that specializes in online dating, is looking for people who have experience in customer service and an interest in human relationships.  

If you think you would do a good job at playing Cupid then you can apply on the company's website. 

The hiring process involves three simple steps, starting with filling out an application form.

If your answers show potential, you'll then be asked to participate in a follow-up assessment and screening interview.

As a matchmaker you'll have many responsibilities including working with creative writers who help arrange dates for couples. 

Anyone looking to apply will start as a Junior Matchmaker, which is a part-time position that pays $9-$12 an hour.

However, if you prove to be a good fit you'll be switch to full time, which comes with a sizeable pay raise of up to $18. 

Overall, the position is perfect for anyone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a big heart.

Salary: $15-$18 an hour
