You might want to grab your umbrellas. Strong winds and rain are in Ontario's weather forecast this week. 

According to Environment Canada, parts of the province could feel a gusty cold front travelling at 80 kilometres an hour, along with thunderstorms on Wednesday. 
 
A special weather statement is in effect for Barrie-Orillia-Midland, Niagara, Simcoe-Delhi-Norfolk, Kingston-Prince Edward, Huron-Perth, Grey-Bruce, and Dunnville-Caledonia-Haldimand.

According to The Weather Network, the cold front will start to blow in on Wednesday morning, while intensifying into the afternoon. 

Areas north of the GTA can expect 5-20 millimetres of rain, while Toronto could get up to 10, TWN reports. 

The storm is supposed to move in during the afternoon, and both the wind and rain should taper off by the evening. 

"A cold front passing through Southern Ontario will bring strong, gusty winds beginning Wednesday morning," writes Environment Canada. 

"Winds will gradually taper late in the day on Wednesday."
