The wait is over for those hungry to get back into vacation mode, especially if you're looking to book an international flight out of Toronto's Pearson Airport.

On February 22, Air Canada announced that there will be 16 international flight routes opening up, and some take off as early as March 1.

Starting up next week and up until June 1, there will be some non-stop flights available for travellers to book that includes a trip to many beloved tourist destinations across the Atlantic and the Pacific.

Right at the start of March, Pearson travellers can fly over to Amsterdam, Paris, and Tel Aviv, which will be available to passengers all year round.

Then later on in the month on March 26 and March 27, fliers can start jetting off to Lisbon, Vienna, Athens, and Rome.

Air Canada also announced that some flights are finally making a comeback after a two-year suspension from the pandemic.

In May, Air Canada is relaunching their trips to Copenhagen, Budapest, Barcelona, and Madrid out of Toronto Pearson Airport. And, anyone looking to be whisked away to Venice can fly out even earlier on April 15.

Other flights that will be taking off from Pearson with Air Canada also include Tokyo on April 27, Edinburgh and Manchester on May 30 and Reykjavik on June 1.
