University Of Toronto Just Got Ranked The Best School In All Of Canada

U of T students rejoice! The University of Toronto has now been ranked the best school in all of Canada.

U.S. News & World Report updated its global university rankings on October 22, 2020, once again awarding the University of Toronto the top spot in the county.

U of T also moved up in its worldwide ranking and is now considered the 18th best school across the globe.

U of T President, Meric Gertler

There are only two schools outside of the U.S. that outrank U of T, the University of Oxford and Cambridge.

Other universities in Canada also ranked as some of the best in the world.

The University of British Columbia ranked second, while Quebec's McGill University came in third.

"As one of only a handful of public universities to be ranked among the world’s elite institutions, U of T offers students and faculty the opportunity to conduct world-leading research," Gertler continued.

U of T also received the same honour last summer.
