Gananoque is a quaint village located in the scenic 1000 Islands region. Perched along the St. Lawrence River, the town boasts shimmering water views and European vibes that will transport you back in time.

It's about a 3-hour Via Rail ride from Toronto, making it a convenient spot for a summer weekend getaway. The Gananoque train station is a 6-minute drive from downtown, so you may need to grab a taxi once you arrive.

With roots dating back to the 1700s, Gananoque's old-world streets will transport you to another time. You can explore the quaint shops and stone buildings, which brim with historic charm.
