When it comes to doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, Canada's oldest senior has gotten his first one and he wants everyone to get theirs too.

Amenida Seniors Community, located in Surrey, B.C., shared that they got their first supply of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on January 14 and all residents who consented got their first dose that day.

Among the residents who got the first dose of the vaccine was JaHyung Lee, who the assisted living home said is Canada's oldest senior.

He is 110 years old!

After his turn, he posed for a photo with a sign that said "get yours!"

Every resident who got the first dose will get the second one in the coming weeks.

Shortly after this news broke, across the country, the City of Toronto announced that all of its long-term care homes have given their residents their first dose.

Canada is expecting to have more than one million doses delivered every week by April and planning to have everyone vaccinated by the end of 2021.
