Manitoba RCMP are continuing their six-day search for 34-year-old Eric Wildman, a suspect in a homicide who is considered "armed and dangerous."

Police have been searching for Wildman since June 12, when they tweeted that he could have information regarding the disappearance of 40-year-old Clifford Joseph, who was reported missing on June 7.

On June 13, Wildman's vehicle was searched and officers found firearms, police tactical equipment, police patches and other items that resemble police clothing. On Twitter, Manitoba RCMP said that "[Wildman] may have further access to firearms & police items."

A warrant was issued for Wildman's arrest on June 14, when it was announced that he is considered a suspect in the homicide of Clifford Joseph. Wildman is described as 6-feet, 2-inches tall and 170 pounds with blue eyes.

On June 16, RCMP tweeted that the car Wildman is believed to be driving, a rented 2020 Chevy Equinox with the Manitoba licence plate KGE 368, was spotted going eastbound on Highway 44 east of Whitemouth at 7 p.m.

"All possible #rcmpmb resources are being deployed to bring Eric Wildman safely into custody," they tweeted. "Expect heavy police presence throughout the Whiteshell area."

There's a tip line for information relating to the suspect at 431-489-8551. If people spot Wildman or the car he's believed to be driving, they're being asked to call 911 immediately and not approach him.

In 2019, Manitoba RCMP were part of a massive search that spanned multiple provinces for two B.C. men who were wanted for three murders.

UPDATE: Wildman was arrested on Friday, June 18, over 2,000 kilometres away in Belleville, Ontario.
