Congratulations to Tsuut’ina Nation on having the first Costco in the world open on First Nations reserve land!

Minister Rick Wilson

In his tweet, Wilson hailed the new location as an "amazing example of entrepreneurship" and said it will bring "much needed" employment and investment to Tsuut’ina as well as Calgary.

On August 25, Premier Jason Kenney revealed that Alberta's facing a deficit of over $20 billion and has been the hardest hit economy in all of Canada.

The Southwest Calgary Costco is one of three new locations in Canada, with the others being in Gloucester, Ontario, and Sherbrooke, Quebec.
