On Monday, December 14, Alberta officials addressed the public to share an update on the COVID-19 vaccine in the province. During the address, Municipal Affairs, Deputy Minister Paul Wynnyk put on his mask in a unique fashion and it did not go unnoticed.

In the video, Wynnyk finishes speaking, sanitizes his hands, and proceeds to place his facemask over his entire face. He then fumbles a bit to get his glasses out from beneath the mask.

You can see the events occur around the 10:30 mark in the video below.

A clip of the scene was posted on TikTok and has gained over 120,000 views along with thousands of likes.

Paul Wynnyk is overseeing vaccine distribution throughout the province.

"We have the plans in place to get the vaccines to where they need to go: into the arms of Albertans," he said in the conference.

He served in the Canadian Forces for more than 38 years, ranking as a Lieutenant-General.

While the mask fumble was seemingly accidental, the TikTok caption reads "Need a good belly laugh?! This is it!!" and it certainly does not disappoint.
