Praise be! The Handmaid’s Tale is filming in Ontario once again — this time, in Brant County. Although, the production has seen a few major changes since having to halt filming back in March.

The region announced on Wednesday that they were “[pleased] to welcome the crew of Gilead 4 Productions Inc.”

Filming began on Thursday and will take place until September 22, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Because of changes made due to the pandemic, the production will no longer be filming on location and, rather, will switch to an in-studio approach.

Along with the mandatory two-week quarantine for international travellers coming into Canada, cast and crew must undergo various screenings.

A record will also be kept of all production members. Physical distancing and PPE will be required on set, reports the Brantford Expositor.

Because of the delay in filming, the show's fourth season premiere is set to be pushed back into 2021, according to The Wrap.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Elisabeth Moss will be making her "directorial debut" on the third episode of the new season.

Filming of the third season took place in Hamilton, Brant County, and downtown Toronto, where they filmed a particularly disturbing execution scene.

It is unknown if the production will return to Toronto for filming this season.

Canada's beloved comedy series Kim’s Convenience has resumed filming in Toronto. Cast members have been sharing photos to social media to show their excitement.

According to CBC, season five of the show will premiere in the winter of 2021.
